Chameleon

A relief print of a red oak that was found on the side of the road. This is cut from the tree right before the trunk bifurcates into limbs. You can see the double piths and the figure in between. This is called the crotch where the grain swirls and breaks free. It prints so beautifully.

Each print is hand printed on Kitakata paper using oil based black ink. And each print is signed and numbered making each unique and rare.
